Definitely the older ones. They feel more informal, experimental, and generally more... Wario-like. My favourite one is the one from Twisted!, and that may or may not have something to do with the fact that Twisted! is my favourite WarioWare game. There's just something so special about it...

Dr. Crygor debuted in Mega Microgame$ (the first WarioWare game), not Smooth Moves. As side characters or a cameo, yes. But to incorporate them into the main cast is a but too much honestly.

Yeah, Twisted! and Touched! were the games at which WarioWare was at its peak IMO. This would be a concept that could actually be successful, and it could be a nice nod to the puzzle-platformer aspects of Wario Land, minus the actual platforming.

Is this canon though? Now I wouldn't be surprised if Wario actually did this, but I can't remember reading about this or seeing it in-game. But then again, I don't know all the details of WarioWare lore, so maybe you're right.

Yes indeed. I am glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like this new artstyle that seems to have become the new standard. It feels too far removed from the earlier, more experimental artstyles.

How is this plagiarism though? There are many games with this gimmick Donkey Kong Country Returns Super Paper Mario several Kirby games Shantae: Risky's Revenge (not Nintendo) Just to name a few. That's like saying that every game that lets you collect 1-ups is a plagiarism of Super Mario...

Any possible Super Mario Bros. Movie sequel will almost certainly introduce the extended Mario cast and recurring characters that we haven't seen so far, and Wario could very well be among those.

Would be fun, but to be honest I seriously doubt that would happen. Can't exactly say why though.

As much as I like seeing new characters being introduced and existing minor ones being promoted to main character status, I think the WarioWare cast has become pretty crowded by now.

This is probably the closest we can get to Captain Syrup and Penny in GBA look. Waluigi looks super rad too.

Hmm, I never knew of this. But then again, in the games this is never mentioned, and neither in the manuals of the earlier games, which were full of additional info and trivia.

I can totally see why they came up with Move It as the title of the new WW game. Just look at Wario. That's by far the thiccest Wario we've seen in recent years.
