Yes, and it's refreshing to have hard bosses in a Nintendo platform game in this day and age since the bosses in Mario games are easy(looking at you New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario 3D Land/World games).

Fun story. Wario Blast used to be my mom's favorite game. At one point she had all the passwords written down. It's a fun game, but it's just a Bomberman game that Wario was put into so that it would sell better in western countries. It's differently worth a playthrough if you want my opinion.
