I agree. The Ware series is not 'deep' by any means lol, and I think that it would lose a lot as a quirky, carefree game if it got too heavy-handed. Despite that, I think the characters have a lot of potential for meaningful expansion. At the very least, I am left wanting more. I am an author...

I would certainly be interested in helping, if ever there were a future revival of this project! I only know elementary Japanese, & there would be a few goofs going back & forth between Google Translate on words I don't know, but nonetheless: if anyone plans to take up the torch, keep me in mind!
