Yeah Smash is just weird in general with that stuff. When it comes to Wario stuff to I'm always disappointed that they never have any Wario Land trophies or do any Wario Land music remixes. It hurts me so much.... ;_;

I've already made a few posts, but hey folks I'm Kami. I saw a link to this forum on tumblr and decided to sign up and check it out, since Wario's the best character and all :V. Hoping to have some fun discussions and all.

I think his shoulder bash could work quite well actually, like thats what he does when he starts running at top speed. He can take out the normal Goombas and Koopas with it but, like his own games, stops or gets hurt if he hits something like spikes or fire or something like that. Or...

They were both villains really. Don't forget that Wario had not long been ousted from Mario's Castle at the time, and his entire purpose in finding the statue was so he could ransom it back to the Princess himself to make enough to build his own castle. Hardly the heroic motives :V. It's fairer...

It wouldn't be that difficult to get Wario to go along, just have him interested in the coins he can collect on the way or have Bowser (or whoever the antagonist of the game) slight him in some way like throwing a bomb in his face in the intro cutscene. Though going with what Glowsquid said...
