Same here. After grinding to collect every souvenir, this was definitely a nice surprise and a pretty cool reward. It’s awesome that the developers put in this mode for those who are willing to go above and beyond by unlocking everything.

IGN Spain has given the game an 8.5/10 while IGN Italia provided a lower score of 7/10.

The Metascore went down to a 76 due to IGN’s 7/10 review, but it was able to rise back up a bit thanks to Nintendo Life’s rating of 9/10.

The call could’ve taken place before Ashley decided to give into Wario’s constant begging, but I agree that the person in the call doesn’t seem like Ashley. You could very well be on to something. Maybe it is Waluigi.

I love the theory, but I’m leaning more towards it being Ashley since she hangs up on Wario in the intro when he tries calling her to make games for him.

My initial fear was that critics would be a little harsh on the game because of the amount of microgames reused or because of the short length of the story mode, but I have rarely seen them bring up such things so far. I look forward to reading your review btw.

Yeah, I definitely agree. An 80 or maybe even slightly higher sounds about right. I would be more than happy with a score like that, especially considering it would be a massive improvement compared to the previous entry, Game and Wario’s metascore of 61.

Yeah, I’ve read the review and it was pretty clear that she isn’t too familiar with WarioWare and how much of a single player experience the games usually are. If she had played more entries from the series before making the review, I could definitely see her giving it a higher score.
