    Nintendo Direct soon

You certainly got the Rhythm Heaven part of that in Groove, at least. What I wonder though is who primarily developed the game. TNX is mentioned as a codeveloper, but it doesn't seem to actually be a game dev company. Intelligent Systems isn't mentioned on the copyright either, but WarioWare...

    Nintendo Direct soon

The last time any Wario game was a launch title was WarioWare: Smooth Moves for the Wii. It would be quite neat if, to demo the mouse Joy-Con, a WarioWare also served as a launch title, but that doesn't seem too likely given Move It! only released two years ago.

Calculating just how "classic" are Nintendo Classics

I'm starting this as a general thread where we can track just how "classic" Nintendo Classics are in each WarioWare. While the R&D1 developers of Mega Microgames! never intended to feature anything truly from its era, over time the games have reached more and more into newer games... to the...

Article Why Princess Shokora should return in WarioWare: A Thesis

To add to this, if she returns as a full-fledged microgame host, I think she'd be a good fit for the Fantasy genre, although with WarioWare's ever-proliferating choice of hosts vying for the spotlight I do wonder if she's best served being combined with Dribble and Spitz... maybe as their first...

My thoughts on why there won't be a new Rhythm Heaven game

Tsunku's cancer struggles culminating with permanent loss of his voice certainly did not help matters, either. That said, the occasional WarioWare redraw of Rhythm Heaven characters is at least something rather than nothing.

Collecting all the unique WarioWare website Under Construction pages

Interestingly, a different page than what Internet Archive saved for January 31, 2024. That could mean that the text is unique to this year and we won't get reruns of anything we've missed... or the website already considered it February at that time. I'm hoping that it'll be a loop so that we...

Collecting all the unique WarioWare website Under Construction pages

It seems that Wario's new year resolution is a terrible work ethic. In addition, it looks like someone else than Wario was late to buy his fellow cabbie a present on Christmas Eve. I missed this, but luckily someone more thoughtful than me was able to archive it (but not Christmas itself...

Collecting all the unique WarioWare website Under Construction pages

July 7's page is Lulu almost outing her crush on Young Cricket. It's not clear what holiday it's based on but some cursory research reveals it could be Tanabata? Contact Us | WarioWare, Inc. Official Site | Nintendo Edit: This holiday indeed is known as "tanabata" internally.

Collecting all the unique WarioWare website Under Construction pages

Here's the general end of year (i.e. not Christmas or presumably New Year) 2024 page, from Wario himself.

Collecting all the unique WarioWare website Under Construction pages

With how much the only currently under construction (probably indefinitely) page on the WarioWare website, the Contact Us page (Contact Us | WarioWare, Inc. Official Site | Nintendo) is ever-changing, I thought I might start a thread to archive all the unique pages there are to see. Let's start...

Are we getting a non-Ware Wario game any time soon ?

It depends strongly on whether there is a development team interested enough to do one, which hasn't been the case for years since Shake It!. Perhaps someone at Intelligent Systems is pushing for one, though, if the intentional steps to incorporate Land references are anything to go by... but...

Fandom Wario or Donkey Kong - Which franchise has the brighter future?

At least WarioWare has quite a few senior staff that care for it; that seems to be the most important factor to a series survival (c.f. no one clamouring for a new Ice Climbers). I can't imagine anyone at Retro Studios being as committed to Donkey Kong Country as Goro Abe is to WarioWare, sadly.

Which artstyle is the best for the WarioWare series ?

The Gold artstyle has even trickled down (albeit in its raw form similar to GIT's Galleries) to all other Ko Takeuchi non-WarioWare works. I think it's safe to stay we'll be sticking with it for a while... which is fine, because it certainly works well enough.

Mario Party Wario's Ally Game in Mario Party Jamboree is WarioWare Inspired?

GIT's Sly Angle and Move It!'s Galactic Conquest actually had the most Mario Party-like approach to minigames of WarioWare whilst still being true to the latter; fusing Mario Party's longer time limit and competitive nature with WarioWare's conciseness of a single command. It would have been...

Upcoming Game New WarioWare: Move It Trailer!

Very late to be pointing this out, but I've always found it somewhat hilarious that the English version of this trailer appears to be voiced by Stephanie Sheh; if true, meaning that, in effect, you're listening to a very off-key Mona voicing the trailer, and would be the second time any of the...

Your favorite "little things" in the Wario Land series

I apologise for the necro but I wanted to bring up a discovery I made. I would have thought the days of Wario manuals were over like most things... but there does exist a Japanese-only print-and-do-it-yourself Get It Together! manual that slots neatly into the otherwise-unused manual retainer of...

What's next for the WarioWare series?

Would also be nice if, for a hypothetical Super DIY, they used the playable characters from WWGIT to solve the major problem the original DIY had; very limited player interaction with microgames. (However, that might neccessiate a change in what things you can put in microgames, with them being...

What's next for the WarioWare series?

I feel like another approach would be to contextualise enemy attacks as microgames, and perhaps leave standard attacks as more Paper Mario TTYD-style action commands. For those looking for a more traditional experience, perhaps a battle memory system would serve those players well.

What's next for the WarioWare series?

I mostly see the Gold/Get It Together!/Move It! trilogy's primary purpose as reviving the franchise, and in this purpose it largely succeeds in my opinion even if it doesn't have the sales to show for it. But, yeah, I wouldn't be lying if I said I wanted something more... out there than more...

    Wario-related randomness

Somewhere online I read that AlphaDream (back when it was still alive, rest in peace) proposed a Wario RPG with his partner being not Waluigi, not Captain Syrup, nor Mona... but Princess Peach. The way I could've seen this work would've been something following the plot of WarioWare: D.I.Y: all...
