I don't watch a lot of animation, but I recently watched through the first Medabots anime and loved it so much I was a bit sad when it ended. Watching Medabots Spirits now and I like it more than most people but I don't think it's quite as impactful. I also loved the TV continuity of Mobile...

Completely anecdotal but whenever I see WW brought up in casual social media discussions, it's usually among the lines "This game so good they need to make Wario World 2" and "It was so short but I loved it!". It doesn't strike me as being especially disliked (that's MoD's shtick).

The Wondergoo bonus has been posted

Nintendo of America just put up a message explaining Charles Martinet will no longer be doing voices for Mario games, including Mario, Wario & co. The writing was on the wall with them moving to AI voices for those "Mario in real time" exhibits, but man, it still feels so sudden.

Stores Wondergoo and Yamada now have announced their pre-order bonus. Yamada's website deny access so I can't check what it is but Wondergoo's is a tin can.

I think it'll do at least a million but how well past that depends on how well it's received and how much stuff it has (hopefully more than GiT)

I feel it's a mix of so-so word of mouth and coming slightly before Mario Party Superstars, which would overshadow it as the holiday party game.

The 2022 CESA White Paper (yearly omnibus Japanese sales report) has been published and includes, among many other things, an updated total for GiT as of December 31, 2022. This is underwhelming. Let's hope Move It has more staying power.
