FTL: Faster Than Light (that sort of counts, right?). I doubt I specifically have anything against science fiction games, but none have been in genres that I play regularly. But anyway this is going far off course for a Wario forum. I know that's not what you like, but... yeah. Sorry to sound...

    Unpopular Video Game Opinions

Mine has to be, I dunno. That Mario Party Superstars looks... kinda bland? I mean, don't get me wrong, it is an impressive return to form that SMP started, but the visuals and character design look... not that impressive compared to Get It Together!, and on a higher budget even. Hearing even...

LM3 was the last Switch game, I think, which I got soon after launch. After that nothing really enticed me til WWG. It wouldn't be until in Dec 2020 that I got another Switch game, Mario Odyssey. (Remember, Switch WarioWare was only a twinkle in the eye back then!) GIT was next, on launch.

    The Wario Cup Thread

Week 8 took me a while to find the time to complete, but when I did, I stopped at nothing but perfection. High Speed Test-o-Rama is an evolution of Week 3's Timed IQ Test-o-Rama, but is now a Score Attack. It's still played at quite high speed, but at least you'll now stick with one crew member...

    The Wario Cup Thread

Week 7 is a bit better than last time. Disc Jockey asks you to play as 18-Volt in the first conventional endless Score Attack. Luckily, I'm not too shabby with him, so I managed a score of 9,431 over 49 rounds. It seems also that the microgames in cycle are limited, though I'm not sure in what...

    New Wario series sales thread

It's comforting to know that GIT has done much better than Gold, and it makes you realise just how unsuccessful it was despite being such a good game, by no fault of its own. I'd also love to know how much they've recuperated from GIT thus far, as with it being a 1080p-ish game it must've had...

    German Orbulon is depressing.

Wow, I never would've thought that was you! Thanks for your work compiling all those voices together. But yes, that's the video I was talking about. Regarding where they got the voices from... where else but ripping the game?

    German Orbulon is depressing.

Most characters have all their major Gold clips (except story ones) online thanks to a certain YTer called fitandfunky. I believe GIT recently got the same treatment from someone else, though I'm not sure of the details on that. Here's a Gold example for Mona:

    The Wario Cup Thread

Now for another Time Attack + fixed crew, but multiple! Week 6 is quite hard, but overall not as hard as the previous week. Odd Ones Out forces you to play as Kat, Jimmy T and Lulu, in that order. 16 microgames to beat, and of course, losing will cost you dearly in time. Pretty difficult on the...

    Mona attempt

That's a pretty fair attempt of Mona, if I say so myself. Don't mind it at all. Keep at it, and I'm sure you'll get to even higher heights!

Wario in the Illumination Mario feature film (or its possible sequels)

I think if there was to be any character played by Martinet, Wario has to be it. Of all the Mario chars, Wario's the one he's the most experienced with full voicing. Would be a nice homage to WarioWare Gold if that were to be true, too.

    New Wario series sales thread

Nice guess, but no, it's the knockoff we have in Australia. To be honest though, I forgot that there was the Canadian version until your post reminded me of it. Edit: Oh, now I see the whited out text. You got me real good there, sorry.

    New Wario series sales thread

Amazing what simply releasing on a platform on its prime does. I think we'll have a good shot at something not WarioWare (like Paper Wario, if Intelligent Systems wants to escape the no original characters mandate) if this keeps up. More sales are always good. Although anecdotal, I can also...

    GIT Voice Acting

GIT also proved that complete full voice acting wasn't needed for some awesome voice work. Despite the loss of full VA, what we did get (for microgame intermissions) is still mostly the same standard as in Gold. Most of Stephanie Sheh's characters (Mona, Kat) and Fryda Wolff's (Ana, Penny) were...

    Favourite Mona design?

Most of this thread pre-dates her Gold redesign, which might've shifted the tables a bit. The Rhythm Heaven'ification of Mona in G&W didn't help matters much, that's for sure IMO.

    The Wario Cup Thread

This one particularly is hell with two Pyoros. I don't think I've won it without some mindless control stick flicking and accidentally popping the ghost balloons. I think player characters count to popping it, though?

Do you think there should be a Wapeach and Wadaisy?

To be honest, I do concur with the opinion that there shouldn't specifically be a Wapeach nor Wadaisy. We already have enough underused Wario series characters as is; why would we need specifically an inverse Peach that'd also go unused after she's through?

    The Wario Cup Thread

Week 5 brings the very first simultaneous control stage! Which was in the rules screen, but never used until now. This cup, Pyoro, Pyoro!, forces you to play as Pyoro, but two of them. Much like the Week 2 cup, it's endless until losing all four lives, this time with this mode's actual life...
