I would agree with that headcanon if not for the fact Wario gave all the money and treasure gathered throughout his adventure to Denpu in exchange for a castle.

I wouldn't say Wario treats his pals that badly, aside from refusing to pay them. In-game you can see them all go clubbing together, and during the Potluck and Dance Party in Gold they all wonder where Wario is. As if it's a strange occurrence for him not to show up to these kinds of things...

For sure. Especially with how a lot of people on here seem to consider it "poorly aged" or "one of the worst Wario Lands". Yet despite it not being a fan favorite, it was actually the best selling Wario game of all time with 5 million copies sold worldwide.

Not mine, but I adore this remix of A Peaceful Village (Daytime). It makes me imagine Wario's WL2/3 sprite going for a merry stroll in town.

World most definitely is, and the only reason it doesn't have the Land title is because they wanted to make it seem more expansive and three-dimensional than the Wario platformers before it. Hence why "World" was used over "Land".

I doubt it. The gold buttons seem really random? Wario's always had silver buttons since his conception and I don't know why they'd suddenly change them to gold.

Gangplank Galleon is an overrated song and only the first part of it is good. Here, have a better song which made use of said first part.

It's a Mario game, but hijacked by Wario and his friends-- er, enemies. Makes the game much better than it would've been otherwise in my opinion.

They may not have the "Wario Land" name, but they're platformers where Wario is wearing his classic overalls, so to me they are.
