Well, we already have a Captain Wario themed outfit, and the Wario Land series already has at least one remix/cover. So we're already up in terms of Wario representation on every other Mario Kart game in history.

Or have a strong overlap between their fans and Wario fans in general? Personally, the most obvious choices seem to be the following: Shared with Wario Land Shantae Pizza Tower AntonBlast Shared with WarioWare Rhythm Heaven Shared with Both Mario RPGs and spinoffs in general But yeah...

He's pretty cool. Not my favourite character by a long shot, but like the rest of the WarioWare cast, pretty cool nonetheless.

Oh yeah I saw that video. And to be honest... I agree with him here. The game itself has some good ideas, with the graphics, music, characters and story being excellent all-round. It's just the broken touch screen controls and obnoxious treasure chest mini games that drag down the whole...

Okay that's a pretty neat easter egg! Don't see too many blatant Wario Land references in indie games, at least outside of Wario Land successors like Pizza Tower and Antonblast.
