I'll give them credit, they did care about Wario's past and tried to make a game that felt Wario Land like. It's just their game design 'style' seems to be 'slow-paced, somewhat casual game with extremely low level of difficulty'.

Honestly I'm kinda torn on that. Good Feel make some nice looking/sounding games, but they're never that 'special' in the gameplay department. Wario Land: Shake It is probably one of the least impactful Wario Land games, and people moved on from Yoshi's Crafted World and Princess Peach: Showtime...

Terrormisu is definitely present throughout the story. And to be fair, on that basis... are most Wario Land antagonists antagonists? You don't see the final boss in VB Wario Land til the final boss fight, you don't see Rudy until the final boss fight in Wario Land 3 (at least in his true form)...

Given we've got Nintendo movies and a theme park now, how do you think Wario and his series might factor into these things in future? Will Wario and co appear in Super Nintendo World? Will Diamond City or Kitchen Island or some other location get a Super Nintendo World area, like DK Island did...

Hmm I guess Wario Land II might be hard to make a reference for to the same degree as the other titles. The other games have new and unique villains and transformations and settings, while Wario Land II feels like the closest thing to a direct sequel story/setting wise. As far as rereleases go...

Ah fair enough. I guess you prefer the more 'Wario is invincible and puzzles/exploration are the key focus' era Wario Land games. And WarioWare Gold is probably the best in the series. DIY is pretty cool too, the Discord for this place is very focused on that game if you haven't checked it out...

I haven't played VB Wario Land yet, so I won't rate it.
