Just wanted to put this here as well, to show the bizzare glory that is Tree Wario.

I meant to get a lot more into drawing when I started this thread, but external factors made me neglect that idea for a very long time, so here's my first drawing in two years: It's sloppy and unpolished, but I'm still honestly pretty proud of it.

Captain Toad and Wanda I like this idea for how the protagonists would now be presented, in a modernized Wario's Woods or a major modern callback to Wario's Woods, with Toad now in his Captain gear and Wanda being re-imagined to be a sprixie, even if I prefer her normal design.

Holy Shit, today is the 25th anniversary of Wario's Woods.

Not sure how interesting this is to most, I just find it fascinating.

You wouldn't believe how happy it makes me that I'm able to play these now.

A nice little tribute drawing of the Mario & Wario and Wario's Woods duology, as I like to call it.

The Direct gave me Mario Maker 2, Captain Toad DLC and the Link's Awakening remake, that's more then enough to make me go out of it pleasently surprised. It was also refreshing to have a Direct where Smash wasn't a main attraction, nothing against Ultimate, but I just appreciate other games...

It's still not like Ware had any hand in that, so I don't see the point of ragging on it for that. Without Ware we still wouldn't have more Wario Land, the two series aren't even in any direct competition with each other and at least Ware still allows Wario to be more then Mario spin off fodder...

Very nicely done! I like that it doesn't put too much focus on the utility Psynergy, because that's pretty much what his whole AT moveset is and while I don't mind it, it does completely skip over his proper offensive options, as a Venus Adapt. Also, his Final Smash would totally be Judgement...

Can't belive I didn't know of this until yesterday, but I adore it.
