Or are there other franchises you like more? For me, it's kinda tied with the Mario RPGs and Zelda series right now, with my choice of favourite depending on what I've been playing the most recently.

I tend not to buy bad video games

All map character sprites from Wario Land 4

Looking at Wario Land 4 sprites makes you realise how much work went into the game's graphics. Even the most basic 'ambience' enemy has like 16 frames of animation...

I spent way too long figuring out how these things animated...

It's something we need to look into. The existing plugin seems to be incompatible with either a newer version of PHP or XenForo, so I'll need to upgrade it at some point. But given it's like, a hundred quid, that's not a top priority.

Honestly, I'm hoping for at least the newcomers from Tour. Not the clones, but: Nabbit Poochy Chargin' Chuck Hammer Bro Dixie Kong King Bob-omb Captain Toad Etc. Those would certainly help fill out the roster, even before we get to the spinoff characters. And dear god we need those spinoff...
