Gonna be honest, if you're a Wario fan, there's no reason not to be on Wario Forums. May as well share your thoughts and artwork somewhere that people actually care about the series.

In universe anyway? I know the games show him as a baby in Yoshi's Island DS and comment on him being friends with Mario as a kid, but who are his parents? Where was he before the events of Super Mario Land 2 anyway?

Is it me or is there a Nintendo trend to have surprise villains that are significantly more evil and twisted than you'd expect? Fecto Elphilis in Kirby & the Forgotten Land, Null in Echoes of Wisdom, Reclusa in Mario & Luigi: Brothership and now King K Rool's return in DK Bananza.

Surprised this wasn't just a new WarioWare game. Why not use the existing series known for this sort of gimmick rather than trying to create some new thing?

Huh, there's a surprising amount of Wario references here: Wario's house has a music box and treasure chest, Kat/Ana appear, Wario's house from WarioWare is present, etc. Wish official games did this much...

I mean it feels pretty logical that they're planning a bit of a Wario revival. They recently had one for Donkey Kong, and it's likely that Yoshi, Peach, Wario, etc are getting similar focus in future. Curious what the doc will be like.
