5 things you may not have known about Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3

1. You can make some enemies kill other enemies and you even get rewarded for it
For example: when you let a thwomp crush a pirate goom, he will drop a 1oer coin.
Or when one of those lightning spewing clouds hits an enemy, same thing will happen.

2. Penkoons can attack after being stunned
Penkoons (the big, bulky penguin-like creatures that shoot spike balls out of their stomachs) usually place the spike ball in front of them and then kick it towards you when they attack but if you ground pound just after they have placed it they will still kick it even though they are stunned.
I think they can even do it after being defeated.

3. Peach's statue is visible before the ending
This might be more obvious than the other points but some people might not have noticed it.
When the second part of Syrup's castle is destroyed you can actually see peach's dress poking out at the bottom. The entire rest of the castle is sitting on top of the statue. Impressive, isn't it?

4. You can actually kill coins!
If you walk into a key that is sitting on the ground while holding a 10er coin Wario will pick up the key instead and the coin will be "defeated". You even get 1 heart for it just like when you kill an enemy and it plays the same sound. The coin will be gone though....obviously.

5. Super Strength Wario
At one point during the development of the game the title was going to be Super Mario Land 3: Kairiki Wario (スーパーマリオランド3 怪力ワリオ).
Kairiki Wario meaning Super Strength Wario.

I'm kinda sad that this was taken out. Yes, it sounds a bit silly but his super strength IS one of Wario's defining characteristics after all and people often forget that.
