(If you even care about amiibo)
Earlier in Mario Maker's development just before the unlockable characters were revealed and we just got a hint of characters that you could find in the game like Tingle and Ashley, my friend and I toyed with the idea of this possibly meaning potential amiibo before it was revealed that the game just had a ton of unlockable characters. That being said are there any characters that you'd like to see as amiibo that maybe could already could be made into ones or maybe even characters that would be unlikely but you still want?
Yeah Shovel Knight sure opened up the doors to third party characters though I'm a bit surprised since he's not even a Nintendo exclusive. No complaints though.

Other then that I can echo Surrealbrain's Puyo Puyo suggestion (because I really want Sig and Schezo as amiibos) and if there are ever more Mega Man amiibos I will be absolutly get them, especially if Ice Man is among them, because favorite Robot Master n' all.
Baby Mario, Mario kart, Paper Mario, Shadow Mario, Mini Mario, Builder Mario.
(Seriously too many variations of Mario)
I can back up Serreal Brain on the Wario Ware amiibos, they would look awesome on a shelf. And I would also want a Waluigi amiibo if he doesn't count as Warioware.
And one more would be the Pikmin amiibos by themselves just the Red, Yellow, and Blue ones.
I want Karate Joe the most out of the Rhythm Heaven cast but I would like any Rhythm Heaven character as an amiibo.
9-Volt, Wario in overalls, Paper Mario, Metabee, Captain Syrup and Bandana Dee would also be nice.
I don't want a Goom amiibo to come out cause it would ruin my view of it having a beak.

O hey! It has Wario´s helmet from Ware and this cap from his first two games. Does that count as a reference?
That's a board for Wario's amiibo in Mario Party 10. It shows a leaked image of the Super Mario line Wario amiibo, but wave 2 of that line has yet to be announced.
Bayonetta, which by how she's in smash as well as being a sort of new comer for the wii u in general means she more or less will be in the distant future.
Also more DK amiibos like Cranky cause he takes it to the fridge!
Id actually really like to find one Helga Pataki figurine or plush, cant find a single one. Need to find someone who could make one and give them a large amount of money to make me one : p
