Are we getting a non-Ware Wario game any time soon ?

So before, we used two have to Wario series, Land and Ware. And we'd also get games that aren't tied to neither like Wario World or Wario's Woods if you wanna count that. But since 2008, the only Wario games we got were all WarioWare so... Do you think we may get another type of Wario game ? If yes, will it be Wario Land or something else ?

I can see them making a non-WarioWare game, depending if Wario has a big presence in a Mario Movie sequel.

Remember DK had big part where he fights Mario in the movie, then a year later they released the remake of Mario vs. DK on Switch.

Maybe they would do the same thing and remake a game where Mario is playable and Wario is the antagonist, (Super Mario Land 2 or Mario & Wario) These aren't really Wario games but I'll take what I can get, even if it's Wario just playing a bigger role in Mario game/remake.

If Wario is in the next Mario movie, then I agree, there's a big chance we see Wario get a bit of a boost.

However, I don't think they'd remake neither of those two because SML2 is a 34 year old Game Boy game, I don't think they can make people pay 60 bucks for it. As for Mario and Wario.... I think that's the last Nintendo game that could get a remake.

Nintendo making a new Wario Land I see it very likely. Nintendo knows WarioWare and Wario Land are powerful franchises.

If Wario World would been a successful videogame, we would have more Wario World videogames and more 3D platforms Wario videogames, but Wario World was not a success, I think Nintendo could consider not make new 3D platforms Wario videogames.

Nintendo recently added the Wario series to the Japanese Nintendo site. It doesn't say WarioWare. I think anything could happen.
