Call me deluded, but I think ~teh trends ~ are pointing toward yes!
-The first Rhythm Heaven had a cameo by the Space Bunnies in one minigame, but they're not important characters so it's easily ignored
-In turn, Smooth Moves has a blink-and-you-miss-it cameos by the RH monkeys in 9-Volt's story mode.
-Rhythm Heaven Fever is a bit bolder by having a character in one minigame who looks an hell lot like Young Cricket, but he's not identified by name and looks juuuust different enough he could be handwaved as a similar but different guy I guess.
-Then, Game & Wario features a shitton of Rhythm Heaven cameos (starting from the opening cutscene!) and overhauls the art style to be like how RH looked from day one.
-And then, Rhythm Heaven the Best+ features that Ashley cameo and the glory of
ko takeuchi, was this your master plan all along
Plus, laugh at my armchair businessmanning if you want, but I think a crossover makes a lot of sense from a business perspective. Rhythm Heaven is incredibly successful in Japan, while WarioWare is more recognizable internationally. Partnering Rhythm Heaven's popular formula with WarioWare's more consistent and popular characters could attract attention from fans of both series. I really think it could be something special.
(In the meantime, do you think The Next WarioWare will have a RH character as a microgame host or something? lol)
