Talk about fan remakes you find cool.
Note: I am not talking about remasters, ROM Hacks or mods but remakes made from scratch. Fangames such as Super Mario 64 Plus or Sonic 3 A.I.R. do not count as they use code from their original games.
First up, there's Mega Man: The Sequel Wars. A project that aims to remake Mega Man 4, 5 and 6 for the Sega Genesis akin to the official game Mega Man: The Wily Wars that remade Mega Man 1, 2 and 3 for the same console. For now only Mega Man 4 (called Episode Red) has been remade and it's awesome. It has a total graphical overhaul as well as an option to play as Proto Man or Roll and has a lot of options for music, controls and whatnot. If you like Mega Man and never played this game, I highly suggest you do. The project is still being worked I think, here is their channel.
Second, there's Sonic Triple Trouble 16-bit a really popular fangame that re-imagines Sonic Triple Trouble as if it was made on the Sega Genesis. It features very good level design reminiscent of the original game while still being a brand new game with new gimmicks. I would say if you like Sonic go check it out but chances are you already did. Anyways, here's a link to the creator's channel.
If you know of any fan remakes, please talk about them here!
