Coronavirus epidemic: your viewpoint?

At least here in the USA there's a ton of very selfish, very entitled, very idiotic people who think they're above being a decent human being and showing empathy for your fellow human being.
 
Okay, well I'll give you that one, but I don't think it's a human issue as much as it is a culture one, pues.
Fair point. There are definitely places where people complied with their government and listened to scientific authority and didn't try to make this about politics.
 
At the moment, I think the only countries I could probably say worked like that were New Zealand and maybe South Korea.

Europe in many cases wasn't much better than the US, especially not the UK. China did control it, albeit with some measures that went well beyond extreme, and with a huge loss of life. Japan... I think seems to be trying to cover it up. Australia might be heading for a second wave.

And in South America... Bolsonaro makes Trump look sane by comparison, and has caused Brazil's situation to basically collapse.
