Going back to that gba player thing I've tried to in my room and it was terrible. You had to like shake and move the entire GC around. Imagine getting entangled with the cords if you were to stand up and doing that and then there's the option of you having to actually look at the tv and not on your hand that you would normally do on a gba itself. I've tried playing spitz and dribbles minigames and it was very challenging.
