Idea: Pokémon Robots

My recent idea is we have robots that looks and act like Pokémon for compete with these robots fighting, the problem is these robots will need be repaired any times for fights, do you like this idea? Do you have ideas for improve this idea? What of these robotic Pokemon you want?

Isn't Registeel technically a robit? And Genesect etc.

Unless you mean like robot transformations of pre-existing mons, like Mechachu or something, that'd be rad.
