Nackles' amateurish art

So I'm trying to learn how to draw and decided to dump some of my past drawings here:

Here's the first drawing I made on a drawing tablet, I made it on MSPaint back when I still used Windows:

Now a drawing I made in two time, once on paper and then on a drawing tablet using Krita:

I wasn't sure how to use the software as you see lol. The coloring and lines aren't perfect.

Finally a drawing I did yesterday:

I used references for all of them. I don't know how to do original poses for now. If you have any tips or feedback, I'd be glad to hear them. I'm still learning as you can see.

Sorry no Wario. I wanted to draw a while ago but I had a bit of trouble, I may try it again at a later date though. I do think I got better at drawing since then.
I remember when i tought that Sonic was easy to draw and then learned that it is quite the understatement or rather, it is not that easy to draw. Mostly, because it goes down to understand the stylization to cartoon. Stylization in anime is different from artist to artist but usually have their basis more aligned to the anatomy not so distantly; In comparison, the cartoon is way more stylized and to be honest? It doesnt look that bad your sonic of back then. Megaman and Zero seems that you were definetly noting down or noticying down how to segment the anatomy in regards the segments of the body for the pose, really neat!
Did some more today! Thought I'd share.

First I drew Bass from Mega Man. Wasn't sure how to do his armor in this position so I left it at that:

Second, IT'S-A View attachment 16738 TIME ! I took my revenge as I said I attempted it before but failed miserably. Take a look:

This one I'm pretty proud of. The issue I noticed after scanning it through the printer is that one of his eyebrow is way larger then the other. Hmm...
Well you know what. It's not an actually a mistake (it is), It's to show that Wario is an unbalanced and eccentric character! (no, it's not.)
Also I originally misplaced his eyes, then I looked at it and thought "Hey! Wario used to have a crossed-eye, didn't he?" and erased them to make it a bit more apparent.

As always I'm glad to hear feedbacks or tips!
Definetly you should feel proud of that Wario man, POWERFUL BUTTCHIN OF MIGHTYNESSS
Hello little site! ... "Hello Wario!" OH MEIN GOTT! WAAH!

.... whatever so... I have been drawing a lot of OCs for a game I am making lately, and by lately I mean in the past 5 months or so. But I didn't show most of it since I'm paranoid. But now I feel like sharing a bit....

Ok, so this will be the main character for the game I wanna make, I actually wanted the character to look like that from the begging (minus maybe the turban which was added later) but I didn't how to draw at the time so I just did whatever I could manage to form with my pencil.

With that being said... the game I wanna make is actually really ambitious, a bit too ambitious for some high schooler who's amateurish in art and has no knowledge in music to do so I have decided to instead work on a less ambitious (but still pretty ambitious) game which will serve as a prequel. You see, when I started planning the game, I went a little overboard with the brain storming and ended up with a whole series of games with a quite a bit of lore and characters that come with each game. One of those characters backstory is actually perfect for me to make a little prequel game about so I'd like to showcase her now. Introducing Mav!

So yeah, this will be the main character of my first game, I've even made some sprite for her.View attachment 17542

I have already made some animation but I'll show them when I'll have the gameplay be presentable which it almost it. The game will actually draw quite a bit of inspiration from Wario Land 3 so that might be interesting to some of you here. It'll also have some Mega Man influence.

Here's some early drawings of her:

As always, do not hesitate to give me tips as I'm still learning. I've been trying to try to do shading but am not sure I'm doing it well...
Hope we can see more of the character you are planning to make a game off, like in regards of her seemingly confident personality for sure.

Just remember, keep practicying, and keep learning. Remember those artists or art pieces that inspires you and go back fromm time to time while you keep learning, not only as a source of inspiration and a reminder of where your initial spark came from, but to also use your now current knowledge and apply it in a way that allows you to see the methodology of the artists who inspired you.

Keep updating this, eager to see your advances!
