Not sure how well they work myself, but it's a neat idea to see other Mario characters in this style:

Makes me kinda want to see a Wario Land fan game where other familiar characters appear in either NPC roles or as alternate playable characters.

Very cool! I wish I was more knowledgable about making hacks, would be fun to put together a project with some of these types of assets. Maybe even make some of my own!
