Yeah another story related thread.
While writing my post for the other thread I have noticed that some of the storys in Smooth Moves have a bit of a connection going on.
It starts with Wario's food getting stolen and him chasing the Splunk who stole it into the Tempel of form.
After a short Indiana Jones scenario Wario escapes and claims the Form Baton as his own.
Later we are introduced to Penny who is working on some kind of vehicle which we don't know anything about.....until Tiny Wario's story anyway.
Here Wario recieves the vehicle and decides to take it out for a ride.
After some shrinking, cloning and strawberry shenanigens, Wario returns to his normal self and is confronted by a few Splunks who demand him to give them the Form Baton back, which is followed by them chasing him into the Tempel of Form and him accidentally returning the Baton back to it's original place, effectivly book-ending Wario's part of the story.
The last (real) story after that is Orbulons, who got the Oinker crashed in the Tempel of form, because it got hit by the Balance Stone.
There it combines with the Form Baton, comfirming that it has to take place at the very end of the game, since the Balance Stone was nowhere to be found before that.
The only other game on the series that did something like this is Touched, where Orbulon had a bit of a sidestory going on:
1) He get's knocked out of the Oinker, runs into Ashley and has Red chasing afer him in Ashley's story.
2) After escaping from Red's pursuit he is seen chasing after the Oinker in 9-Volt's/18-Volt's story.
3) The Oinker is seen flying over Wario's house in Wario Man's story, thought Orbulon is nowhere to be found, implieng that he got it back, at that point in time.
Anyone else wish they did something like this more often?
Game & Wario was meant to do something like that before it became a Wario game, I really wish they would have kept that idea...
