So how did the Shake Dimension get conquered again?

Bandineros in their base form literally can't attack or hurt anyone.

Yet someone, their group managed to capture the entire world's population and completely take over the entire dimension/world.

How the hell is that possible? Are the Merfles just really, really incompetent? Or was the Shake King literally so badass he took down everyone solo? I guess that's at least somewhat plausible...
