The Big Board's puzzles are mostly pointless?

Anyone else find this a bit disappointing about normal mode in Wario Land 4?

How despite the level having a gimmick, every single jewel piece is literally just lying around in a place you can reach without using any Dice Blocks? And that three of them are literally on the main path?

Kind of kills the level gimmick a little, doesn't it?

Well atleast hard mode you absolutely had to.

Maybe the designers thought that the dice block thing was too hard for normal mode.

Well I thought they were a fun element anyway =)
Always found it weird that the Wario face suddenly put him on fire or made him fat. xD

I think "normal" mode is too easy in general. Maybe it's just cuz I've been playing this game for decades but I'd still call it easy.
It may (edit: NOT) be easy for someone who has never played a Wario game in their life.... or is 6.... but come on. XP

Yeah, I totally agree. Hard mode is the ideal way to play in my opinion.
