The Food Thread

Finally had sushi the other night, it's been a while since I had it but when I do unagi don is the best to go alongside ebi negiri
Vid pretty much describes it's taste.

Japanese instant ramen is quite a lot meatier than American ramen.

I have been really into herbs and spices as of lately, and I've discovered that fennel seed is damn satisfying to make tea of. It has the same aroma and remedial properties as anise, but with a smoother taste and more complex smell.

I don't know if this has come up yet, but has anyone here ever tried raw garlic cloves? Eating them just the way Wario does? I've been eager to try that myself, but I haven't gotten around to that yet. :)

I do eat raw garlic from time to time. It's tasty actually and goes well with many dishes.
Just
Don't stuff your mouth with it the first time you try it out.
Start with small amounts. Prepare some bread and/or water.
The result may be not as pleasant as it looks with Wario.
...
Burning, even.
