Agreed. Though it was still pretty damn cool to have him in 64DS. I LOVED playing the versus mode with my friends back in the day. Wario's special move where he grabs a player, spins them around and yeets them, was so much!
 
The download page for this mod is so cool too, it presents itself as if Wario is talking to you similarly to Wario World's manual iirc.
