Wait, GoodFeel wanted to make a Wario Western Shooter?

When Good-Feel was first approached about developing what would become Shake It!, their original idea for Wario was a Western-style shooter, until Nintendo told them to stick to platforming.

Am I the only one who'd think that was awesome? Red Dead Redemption Wario Edition? What could possibly go wrong?

I can almost see it now. Wario hunting for gold, riding a (very unfortunate) horse, barging into the saloon for a chuckola cola, getting into a shoot out at ten paces at high noon...

It would have made for a very... 'unique' game, wouldn't it?

I find the idea of a Wario shooter both suprisingly cool and awfully random at the same time, thought if we ever end up getting a Wario based shooter then they should make Dr.Crygor the main character and use the inventor/scientist motiv as a means to give him a truckload of crazy gadgets to work with.
