This probably not canon and just a texture they slapped on the coin because didn't feel like making a custom one. Kinda like a Shiver Star has the Earth map texture though it did spark quite a few theories.

I mean that's a fair point. Minor textures for things in games are often just whatever they had lying around. Or easter eggs, like with Twilight Princess HD.

I said it in the replies to the post but genuinely Render96 could have a field day if they tackled Wario World. I always wondered about the background for Greenhorn Forest, for example.

God I'd love to see Render96 look at Wario World. Suspect a good chunk of the assets would be off those old third party stock art discs or what not...
