In 1993, NoA created a Nintendo character guide for retail partners that had info and character models sheets. You might've heard of it - it's where the "Yoshi's real name is T. Yoshisaur Munchakoopas" thing come from.
The Mario and Yoshi pages were well publicized, but the guy who got the guide has since shared more pages. Wario is featured in it.
