Personally, I think that the earlier games would be best to see remade here. The first game and its Virtual Boy sequel would be amazing in colour, and Wario Land 2 and 3 would be amazing with enhanced visuals and music in general.
But there's also a good case for Wario World, and porting Wario Land: Shake It to Switch/Switch 2 doesn't sound too difficult overall.
Honestly, considering the Megaman Collections on Steam just like back then was on the Gamecube, as well as the Ace Attorney Collections, it would be cool to have the Wario Land Remasters. I have seen big companies that let their IP's to be worked on by indie studios that "know their drill" and make something with it. It would be cool if Nintendo does this with a indie studio that are known to put passion on their platforming to deal with it.
Though I would love Wario World remaster too, I woulod love a Wario Land Remasters like the Collections
First of all it was good to read that there will be even a brand new Wario Land in 2027 and not just a remake.
I remember Luigi's Mansion got a remake for Nintendo 3DS before the brand new Luigi's Mansion 3 came for Nintendo Switch. Maybe Wario Land could also first get a remake and after that the new Wario Land.
It's pretty clear that I would chose a Virtual Boy Wario Land remake because almost no one knows that game and the original game is without colors. So a colorful remake of Virtual Boy Wario Land feel like a brand new game. Second choice would be the first Wario Land.
