Will they ever remake Super Mario Land 2?

Honestly, I'd love that idea! Imagine if they remade the game Wario's first appeared and started the epic Wario Land series. It would be pretty cool to have a major villain other than Bowser/Bowser Jr./Koopalings on a main platformer.

That would be amazing, especially if all the games were redone to look like Wario Land 4 or Shake Dimension.

It would make my day. But seeing how the main Nintendo people (especially Miyamoto) don't seem to care much about the Lands it seems unlikely...

for what it's worth, timelines on promotional stuff list the two super mario lands as part of the "main" mario series when they didn't before.

It'd be cool if we got a Wily Wars treatment for the SML series. SML1, SML2, and WL:SML3 with updated graphics and everything packaged into one game with a few bonus content.

Not quite. I'd like for it to be overhauled to not stick out so much from the other 2 games in the Mario Land trilogy. I don't necessarily want it to be more like a conventional SMB3/SMW kind of game.
