What music are you listening to right now?

My brother's started playing LBP again recently, and as a side effect of that I've gotten back into the music. Here are the two songs I've listened to most recently in full.

One day I wanna be the guy who transcribes the whole thing.
First would come the MIDI, and then if I ever finish that I'll give closet music master @doormatface both the MIDI and the base mp3-- with the mp3 for a reference point, he can take the MIDI's corresponding MuseScore file and write the necessary symbols on there for the staccato, playing volume, the little bits of ebb and flow in the tempo, things like that.
I checked online just now, just to make sure it wouldn't be a wasted effort, and the only sheet music for it seems to be this "easy piano" version, and even though I don't know music theory, I know enough to think that the bass line doesn't look right to me. Plus it seems to start at the first chorus instead of also including the bits of piano heard in the kickass intro and the Narrator's expository monologue, which is sad (well, it's a Whiskey and Green Tea kind of chorus, where it technically starts the song for realsies, so actually I can't fault him for starting here, but there's still stuff before that so it doesn't matter. Is that what you'd call a refrain? I don't know/remember. Has a totally different style for the most part).
On one hand, I'm glad, because again, I'd be the first (a la Prince of Persia) to do so (and because it'd be at least 95% identical before I considered it publishable, maybe even the only one), but on the other hand, that's a shit-ton of work laid out before me, as you will soon hear. Thank Christ an instrumental exists, because I remember when I wrote up the intro section (back before I even knew stupidface), and a little bit of what comes right after, I was convinced that I would have to parse out all this information while the guy was also talking: the mix was brought down so you could hear him, and that was looking to be a total nightmare.
