Common Wario misconceptions

Since we are all nerds here let's list off common misconceptions about Wario and his series and why they are either incorrect or don't hold up.

Wario was created by Gunpei Yokoi
Due to him being the creator of the Game Boy and Wario as well as his own series making their debuts there, this thought process is understandable, but incorrect, since it was actually Hiroji Kijotake who created him, being one of the directors of Wario's debut game.

Waluigi is Wario's brother
I thought so at first myself, thanks to the german text on the back of the Mario Tennis 64 box advertising him as Wario's brother, but the majority of sources that touch upon this subject describe their relationship as ambiguous and whenever they do lean towards a stance they usually lean towards them not being related, though sometimes information still differs between languages, similar to the Koopalings, where german Paper Jam still strongly suggests the idea of a relation to Bowser, where as the japanese version not only does not contain that, but doesn't even reference the Koopalings as siblings.

I have some others on my mind, but I feel like others probably have the same thought and can put them better into words then me.

Wario is Mario with the "M" flipped

Wario's name is actually derived from the Japanese prefix Warui with the name Mario so his name means Bad Mario

Yes, but this is also a coincidence, though in this case a good one that only adds up to Wario being the evil and wicked counterpart of Mario, especially in 6 Golden Coins were the ending has the W on the castle flipped to an M.
