Even though I found the gameplay boring, you can't deny how good the animation looked. A WarioWare or Land anime would be sick!

Animation, comics, and books are better formats for video game adaptations. Similar to what you said, these live-action adaptations of games and live-action remakes of animated shows/movies just look awkward and uncanny. A WarioWare adaptation... -
