I joked about this earlier since I didn't notice it, but I now realize it's because the rating is for the entire GameCube app, since it includes some T-rated games. Wario World itself is still rated E. Not sure why they don't specify the individual games' ratings in these trailers...
I think the overall best is the Winter Windster. While it presents an obvious way to hurt it: chuck a rock into the lava to knock it out of the sky with an eruption... there's other ways to damage it faster, my favorite being to hit it with another rock the moment it gets up after taking a hit...
I think it comes down to the scale of the environment. A more focused forum like this on a somewhat niche topic doesn't generate a lot of community at once, so it's easier to weed out any trolls who do show up willing to pick a pointless fight. Meanwhile, everyone can get on the average social...
Utterly surreal watch. It almost feels like false advertising to hype up Wario World with dramatic action movie trailer music, but at the same time I don't think Wario himself would have it any other way. Very exciting to see another one of his platformers return!
Though it is odd how there...
Faust always coming in with the best Wario fanart!! Though I'm not sure how'd I feel if Waluigi's team were all of Wario's villains. Syrup I could get, but the rest seem either truly defeated from their last appearance, or stuck being in-universe fictional characters.
Ooh, is he gonna be an NPC to talk to, or an enemy, or something like Land 4 where you can throw him around and use him for puzzles?
Or even something else I can't think of?!
If Wario World's an option there's no contest from me. Plenty of strange encounters with high skill ceilings that don't make me feel like I'm waiting for the boss to become vulnerable, like a certain septuple of turtles.
Limited to just the Land games, I'd go with 4. II and 3 have some great...
I don't like how broad the term "puzzle game" is. When I hear "puzzle game" I think of something slower-paced that lets me take my time, to decipher clues or discover how to progress further. That can't be said about games where the main goal is to rapidly stack blocks or blobs to not only stay...
I'm not the biggest fan of Shake It's OST, because in a vacuum it sounds good but compared to Kozue Ishikawa's work on the original trilogy or the wide and weird variety from 4, most of the tracks don't stand out to me as capital Wario. That might be the instrumentation, which is reused in...
I'm pretty sure Waluigi's only appearance in Ware is the amiibo sketch in Gold. Not even any microgames... I have gone on record saying I would like Waluigi to get his own game beforehand, since him suddenly appearing in Wario's spinoffs would be very sudden. That doesn't mean I don't want him...
I really like his role in Wario Land 4 as another explorer of the Golden Pyramid, oblivious to most of what Wario is encountering and just there to research before abandoning ship once the pyramid starts to collapse. That mini-interview he had on the Japanese WL4 website... sure is something, as...
