What should Sakurai develop next? Wario Super Star Uprising Air Ride Adventure?

Hell no. Sakuari has shown that he's at least capable of doing DK justice (he and Diddy were protrayed very well in SSE), yet he has been nothing except incompetent with his handling of Wario.

I imagine he would make a Game & Wario styled minigame collection, but with more menus and a lot more farting.
 
If you actually care about the characters in the WarioWare series, you'd have liked Game & Wario.

But really, what the hell kind of game would this be anyway? An adventure game? A Diamond City sandbox game?
 
Well I don't dislike Game & Wario, I just prefer platform/adventure games. And I don't think Sakurai would make a platform/adventure game for Wario (since he clearly doesn't care about the Wario Land side of the Wario series).
 
I'd rather Sakurai stay away from the Wario series. His representation of Wario in Brawl and Smash Bros 4 is bad enough, I don't really fancy seeing what kind of abject horror his characterisations of Wario and the Wario Land/WarioWare cast would bring...
 
If Sakurai would make a Wario game we would get:

1) Wario in the new Smash with moves and representation from the new Wario game Sakurai made
2) Ashley as a character with fully customisable moves
3) Captain Syrup as a last minute Wario clone
4) 10000000 Smash Run enemies, trophies and stages
5) A Wario anime series
6) A Wario trading card game with AR functionality
7) A Smash Bros spinoff called Wario Bros
 
It still doesn't help that most of her fans still don't know shit about the WarioWare series or the other characters.

If this was an adventure game, would it do anything with them?

Personally I would love it if Ashley got her own spinoff adventure game. And then Red could go on to get HIS own spinoff game. And then Red's pet goldfish could go on to appear in yet ANOTHER spinoff game. Then this site could change its focus to covering "The Wario Universe", and not just Wario games.
 
Well I wouldn't want an Ashley spinoff to just reuse all of Wario's supporting cast. I think Mona could have a significant cameo role, but I wouldn't overdo it with the others (especially since guys like Dr. Crygor and Orbulon are really science-fictiony, which clashes with Ashley's supernatural themes and settings).

And then an original IP developed by Nintendo SPD 1 is hastily retooled as a third-person shooter spinoff of Zelda, featuring a character named identically and conspicuously similar to Sewer Guru. The Sewer Guru character goes on to appear in mainline Zelda games, leading to puzzled onlookers wondering just why the hell a Wario fan-forum has a sub-board for the Zelda series.

Dude, nobody forgets her. We are here because we are fans of the Wario franchises so we wont forget any of the characters. Not even the yellow bear.

i do forget about young mantis and penny a lot
