God that would be a neat idea for sure. Not sure if I'd make it the focus of Wario Land 5 in particular, but if Wario Land 4 got a Bowser's Fury type side game, that would be an amazing concept for it.

There was also that Wario Land 3 hack you were working on... what happened to that one? And the Master Quest hacks Tiger made, though I'm not sure they change the levels as much as I'd like.

I am a bit confused though. Some of these names don't match the internal names listed on Mario Wiki. Where does the latter get them from?

Yeah there are a lot of meta references to the Mario series, Nintendo, etc in the Mario franchise and its sub series. There's a film based on Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga in-universe, and the ending shows the game was apparently that film: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door has a Toad...
