This might be a stupid question, but we do saw that 9-Volt had tons of Nintendo games and Nintendo Consoles, I have questions

Wouldn't that be confusing despite the fact that WarioWare is connected to the Mario Universe somehow??

I mean, he plays Mario games, does Mario makes games??? I'm so genuinely confused. Sorry for this stupid question
 
Yeah, it's kind of just a meta thing that's not supposed to be taken seriously. Though I've seen a theory that WarioWare takes place in the future and that in that future all the stories of heroes like Mario have been adapted into games.

Yeah I don't know about this theory lol. It's the same that says that Mona is Luigi and Daisy's child based on that one portrait in her house with her parents that look like them and her mansion looking like Luigi's Mansion 1's B rank mansion but it's just a fun lil theory, it's not super believable.

Yeah there are a lot of meta references to the Mario series, Nintendo, etc in the Mario franchise and its sub series. There's a film based on Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga in-universe, and the ending shows the game was apparently that film:



Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door has a Toad saying he's playing that game.
