To be honest, I don't care that much what WarioWare characters they put in SSB as long as Mona and Young Cricket will be in it. These two are the only characters that will fit into a Smash game, I think

Tbh I think it was to be expected; I mean, even major employees, especially the ones that aren't actively into PR and advertising -such as Martinet in this case- don't know everything there is to know about the company they're working for, and their fanbase.

Yeah, I love this concept. It's a really cool thing to have in a Wario Land game. (Though I actually first came across this gimmick in an unrelated game: Shantae: Risky's Revenge; I haven't had a chance to play VBWL as of yet.)
