I think it works well the way it is. The game over screen is really just a way to kick the player out of the level for screwing up. All other boss levels just send you back a few rooms if you screw up. Since the Temple has no other rooms to get sent back to so the game over screen was a nice...

God I hope that Nintendo Switch VC has Gamecube games. Wario World is short, but very fun and has lot's of personality and charm too it that keeps me coming back to replay it.

Highest score that I ever got in Wario Hop was 110 jumps. Sadly my cartridge erased itself soon after, and I've never been able to get that high of a score ever again.

I like the Mario Party character model better. The face on the golf/tennis model looks kind of off to me.
