Why isn't Wario playable in Mario and Friends: Amiibo Challenge??

Can someone tell me why? Even Diddy Kong and Rosalina are playable!
I thought that Nintendo add Wario and Waluigi when their new Amiibos are out but it doesn't seem so...

It's hard to say, really. Nintendo does unexpected stuff a lot of the time, even when things seem likely Nintendo pulls the rug under you. Wario could have been a character and frankly a good one at that, I don't think they given a reason why they haven't made a mini Wario, but do they have to add Wario? I don't think so, though it would be a cool idea.

I mean, was Nintendo lazy to add Wario? Did Nintendo just not think to put Wario or maybe even thought it was not worth the extra money to include him? a lot of reasons, it could have also been for other reasons.

Well he let them on his team in smash while wario was left by himself for WW. Mario is one to flip flop like that.

My guess is that Wario wanted too much money, and Nintendo didn't feel like paying him.
