I think a Wario anime would be cooler. A slice of life WarioWare anime would be damn funny. Or a Wario Land adventure anime would be solid too. I'm not even a big anime person, but I'd watch the HELL out of a Wario one.

The gameplay is also much slower than WL4. But again, it's more a feel good game like Kirby's Epic Yarn which was actually made by the same people who worked on Shake It. Shake It isn't a bad game, but it just feels like a lot was missing. The art style and cutscenes we're beautiful though...

Exactly! If Wario and Captain Syrup weren't in it, you would never be able to tell this was a Wario Game. It's too casual/feel good, like Kirby's Epic Yarn. Hell, I think Wario Land 1 had more to offer than Shake It. With the different endings and some levels changing as you progress.

Shake It was the least faithful Wario Land game imo. I don't think it's bad, but I do think it's the weakest Wario Land game.

Agreed! The OGs like Fire Wario, Fat Wario, Flat Wario and Zombie Wario are givens. It'd be sick to have new ones too, while still acknowledging some of the OGs. Not a transformation, but they also cant forget rolling Wario. I loved being able to instant kill any enemy or reach a hidden area...

If we get a new Wario Land game, what mechanics would you want it to lean on? I'm kinda torn between 3 and 4. 3 for the fact you can't die and how massive the game is, but I also love the chaos, speed and grunginess of 4.

You really should. They're fantastic games. And Antonblast is actually on sale for Steam right now.

That's exactly what they did in Pizza Tower. They kinda did that in Antonblast too, it was just more of a pain.

Lonely Goomba put it best. "You can't die in those games so they have to punish you somehow."

It's WL2/3 Wario, so he'll be fine.

I think they should make a new Wario Land game and have Wario Day be the same day as the new game's release date.
