I've seen a friend playing the demo of this game, it sticks out a bit more to me than Pizza Tower because it looks more like it's leaning hard into the Wario Land inspiration. Might actually give it a try one of these days once it's out.

I think Mario having 2D platformers these days may actually be a factor as to why we barely get Wario Land games. Wario was there to fill a void that Mario was leaving when he ventured into 3D territories because, as you said, he wasn't doing any 2D jumping until NSMB came out.

Update I fucking love Psychopomp now, so I shall now make it what my profile is themed after. This monstrosity now exists because I was trying to make a new banner, but it didn't fit the banner size in a way that'd look good, so enjoy staring at it

I can't say I'm tired of them because I don't play WarioWare games, but I really do wish we could at least get another Wario platformer. Something like a new Wario Land, World World sequel, or even a Master of Disguise sequel, I don't care, I just want a platformer starring Wario again.

WarioWare is doing good, I'd assume. It gets consistent releases. Unfortunately, Wario Land probably won't get shit for a long time!! That aside, I agree with CM30, both seem to have a future.

I would assume it goes quiet a fair bit considering forums are a dying breed of communication.
