    The Wario Cup Thread

Sorry for inactivity. I'll get both 13 and 14 done in one post. Week 13, like many other challenges, does not actually introduce its own gimmick, so don't get tripped on that. Introduction to Gravity sees us through microgames that rely on gravity as their main gimmick. At least you have your...

    Potential online multiplayer

Sorry if this seems obvious; I don't have any vested interest in emulation. But does this emulate the physical controller inputs, or does it leverage GIT's existing local online multiplayer mode to simplify turning local to worldwide?

    Princess Shokora Thread

For some reason, if any Land character has a shot of showing up as a side char in WarioWare, I feel Shokora's up there. Even though she is canonically dead thanks to WL4's ending, there's still a lot of ideas the devs could play with for her, and she'd be a nice foil to the extant Mario princess...

    The Wario Cup Thread

Fittingly, Week 12 gives you difficulty to control, again, with high speed. Opposable Fun gives you Jimmy T, and the same speed as Timed IQ Test-o-Rama and askes you to clear 16 microgames. Probably not Time Out levels of bad, but still, maybe not the best. I'll take it. After a week, I've...

Same to you. Please enjoy it the way I can't, due to not living in a country that does celebrate it.

WarioWare Get It Together! is a nominee for Best Family game at the Game Awards 2021.

Even though I hope GIT wins, in seriousness I'm quite pessimistic. Then again, if it does win indeed, then I have the perfect 5-Volt quote for the occasion: "What a twist!"

Why is Warioware touched considered disappointing ?

Twisted (and later Gold) was famed for the large number of unlockables called Souvenirs that it had, ranging from simple twistable figurines to a recreation of Love Tester. Touched had a sort of approximation called Toys, but not as many. Smooth Moves does even worse, with no Souvenirs nor Toys...

Now that it's been out for a few days, how do you feel about the game? (spoilers are ok!)

Just going to address these two points in particular: Sure, it's $50 USD, but remember, Ware games are all about replayability, and GIT sure does fulfil on that. Of course, this is highly YMMV, but still, I don't see any reason why it's worse value than Mario Party Superstars. GIT treats...

Why is Warioware touched considered disappointing ?

Sorry, I haven't played any Ware game other than GIT and Gold's demo. I should've mentioned this is from what I heard.

Why is Warioware touched considered disappointing ?

According to what, exactly? I'll agree that it is likely not the most revered of WarioWare games, but not to the point where it's universally considered disappointing, surely. That dishonour might go to Snapped!. Though I do believe it has one of the lower amounts of microgames out of all Ware...

    The Wario Cup Thread

Week 11 finally lets you choose your crew again. Speed Trap introduces yet another gimmick not yet seen previously; the ability to change speed without a massive "Speed Up!" screen, as well as the ability to lower rather than increease speed. Contrary to what Wario would lead you to believe...

Why is Warioware Twisted considered the best and is it still the case ?

It fixed many of the issues in MM; most notably, the poor quality of many of the commands that left many users hanging on how to solve some microgames. Other than that, I've never played, so that's all I can say about it.

    The Wario Cup Thread

Week 10 features the top two most hated characters in the game together at last. Time Out forces you to play for as long as you can with Kat and 9-Volt, the two most infamous auto-moving characters in the game. Despite this, you'll just need to power through the endless microgames (including an...

In Get it Together, can you play only as two or three characters ?

Not sure if you were asking me, but as you can tell from the weekly Wario Cup threads and other postings I've had a real fun time with my first WarioWare game. Would recommend (not that I doubt you already have it).

In Get it Together, can you play only as two or three characters ?

The story mode will force you to play as all characters at least once, not counting . At least you can put them away once done.

I've always been wanting to formulate a strat too, since that microgame would be a run ender, but it occurs so late into the run I haven't been able to. I usually have good luck with it anyway, but touch wood.

That's the problem with forums... they can be intimidating, at least to some, and so they're encouraged to be lurkers and sit out the community, not challenging the status quo. I was certainly part of that guest statistic for quite some time before I took the plunge and signed up. Don't think...

Nice save! So Kneady has cost me quite a few retries when my strategy of just shooting while the dough is in between left it flying towards the floor, but not as many as Rock Candy has cost me. It seems the Food microgames in this challenge are generally painful.

    The Leo Thread!

I think he has a fair chance of returning. He isn't featured to Lulu levels, which isn't a good sign for his future, but he does at least gets nods here and there in the Galleries.

    GIT Voice Acting

Personally, I think hoping for any return to the Mega Microgames style is a pipe dream... but hey, it's cool to imagine what that might look like, and it isn't as unrealistic as "revert to an eighteen year old outdated artstyle in 2021" wishful think.
