Resident Evil Revelations was a step in the right in the right direction, imo. It isn't perfect or close at all, but it's a sort of change from no real horror elements to Kinda spooky sometimes. RE7 just looks like a PT ripoff tho.

As someone whose first forum was a Zelda Forum, I can confirm this divide exists. OoT is my nostalgically favorite Zelda game, but my personal favorite is Windwaker. But yeah, there's a weird divide, and sometimes it gets really confusing about what the fans actually WANT.
