The game is apparently 95% decompiled, which means soon it should be way easier to modify the game or port it to other systems:

So, anyone else excited for this? I'm now picturing how crazy Wario Land 4 mods would get with the source code available, and the ability to make sweeping changes to things like the physics engine or player movement.
 
This is definetely an exciting news! I'd love to see things like a widescreen version of WL4 or having new playable characters among other things!
