Anyone think the Japanese boss names in Wario Land 4 are utterly awful?

Well, not Catbat, because it's pretty much just named Catbat in Japanese. Then again, could you really call it anything else?

But the others... dear god the Japanese naming guys were just crap here. For example, according to Mario Wiki, the Japanese name for Spoiled Rotten is...

Pinky.

Yeah, good job that one was changed. Otherwise the Pac-Man jokes would be unbearable:

Cractus was called Furawana or Flowerana, which just sounds lame.

Cuckoo Condor was Kondarā, which no offence, sounds pretty boring.

Aerodent's Japanese name is Shikkii, from the Japanese word for command. Yeah, that's another pretty bad name.

And Golden Diva... well apparently, it was called Yōki. The wiki says it's from 'ghostly energy' or something, but all I can think about there is:

No, not a deliberate reference to Yokai or whatever, but it still sounds forgettable compared to what we got.

But what do you think? Do you consider the Japanese Wario Land 4 boss names as kind of mediocre?
 
well at least its just the names and not the whole design or personality, i mean if we had all three now THAT would be lame and unfixable. Luckily its not. I can live with Pinky.
 
They are pretty bland in comparison to the english names, but personally, I have seen far worse, so I wouldn't call them awful by any stretch of the imagination.
 
Golden Diva's Japanese name is very appropriate since a " Yokai " are various folklore entities within Japan.
In itself could also mean " strange apparition " aka ghosts which is basically what the Golden Diva is.
