Are any WarioWare characters actually hated?

Saw a post on Reddit about characters that are innocent yet hated by the fanbase, and had to agree with a comment that no one's really hated in this series. Every character has a solid fanbase, and no one's really got a hatedom of any real size. We don't have any characters anyone would count as 'The Scrappy' (in TV Tropes terms).

But what do you think? Is there anyone in the series that's generally disliked?

I don't think we have one either and that's probably due to WarioWare not being a story driven franchise in the slightest. I don't think we got one for Mario either for example simply because there is very little writing in the series. It's not like Sonic for instance which despite being also gameplay focus, has actual scenarios with proper writing and not just excuse plots.

Maybe not dedicated hate. I have seen dismissive/negative attitudes when Mario fans disagree on people's character requests in Mario spin-off rosters, especially if it's a character they are unfamiliar or have little experience with.

I saw that reaction recently when someone said they wanted Mona and a Wario Land character. Maybe it's because certain Mario fans feel it lessens the chance for their character request to get in too.
